Four-Wheel-Drive Kauai Backroads Adventure - Duration: 4 hours

This exclusive journey takes you in an air-conditioned, four-wheel-drive van along
seldom-used roads to areas of
incredible beauty. Because of their inaccessibility, they have been off limits to all but
cane workers for years. As you
meander past reservoirs and fields en route to the summit of Kilohana Crater, your guide
will tell you interesting stories
about Kauai's history and culture. The 360-degree panorama from the top of the crater is
truly breathtaking! You will also
drive through Old Koloa Town - the birthplace of Hawaii's sugar industry - past an old
mill and to the rugged and scenic
shoreline of Maha'ulepu. On the way back, you will drive through a tunnel in the mountain
and see the plantation
owner's home.

guide will tell you about
Kauai's colorful history and culture and point out native plants and birds as you take a
short nature walk. While you enjoy a
delicious deli-style lunch at a lovely picnic area, exotic birds will entertain you with
their songs. Although clear days provide
spectacular panoramas, even overcast days offer waterfalls, rainbows and other beauties of

hidden beauty of Kauai's interior
aboard a modern, soundproof helicopter, specially designed for panoramic viewing. You'll
marvel at the jewel-tone cliffs of
Waimea Canyon and the ruggedly scenic Na Pali coastline. Explore from above the mysterious
Valley of the Lost Tribe
and view the secluded valleys of Honopu, Kalalau and Hanakapi'ai. The view from the air of

Wailua River Cruise & Fern Grotto Tour - Duration: 3 1/2 hours

Enjoy two of Kauai's most popular attractions, a cruise along the scenic Wailua River and
a visit to lush Fern Grotto. The
Wailua River was the landing place of the first Polynesian settlers and once the home of
Hawaii's royalty. As the boat
carries you up the river past tropical vegetation, a guide will point out interesting
sights. There will be a short walk through
dense foliage to Fern Grotto, where the rock forms a natural amphitheater with excellent
acoustics.
You'll appreciate that when you're serenaded with the Hawaiian Wedding Song by a Hawaiian
choral group. The
motorcoach will pass by a number of sights, including Opaeka'a Falls and the ancient
temple of Holo-Holo-Ku Heiau
on your way back to the ship.

the "Grand Canyon of the
Pacific," Waimea is one of nature's most spectacular creations. From a vantage point
at 3,400 feet, you will have a
spectacular view of the 2,857-foot deep canyon and the surrounding countryside. Waimea
Canyon's dramatic size,
combined with the reds and browns of exposed volcanic rock and the blues and greens of
lush tropical vegetation, create a
truly magnificent sight.

Waimea Canyon & Wailua River / Fern Grotto - Duration: 8 1/2 hours

This excursion combines a visit to the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific" -
2,857-foot-deep Waimea Canyon - and a scenic ride
up the Wailua River to Fern Grotto. Start with a drive to a lookout point at 3,400 feet.
You will have an unsurpassed
view of the canyon, filled with an array of colors created by the reds and browns of
exposed volcanic rock and the blues and
greens of lush tropical vegetation. Next, board a riverboat for a cruise up the Wailua
River to Fern Grotto. The rock grotto
forms a natural amphitheater with excellent acoustics, a fact you will appreciate when a
Hawaiian choral group sings the
Hawaiian Wedding Song for you. There will be a stop for lunch at the Outrigger Kauai
Hotel.

SeaFun Beach Snorkel - Duration: 4 hours

Join SeaFun of Kauai for a snorkeling experience you won't forget. This is a beach trip
that is very personalized and great
for all levels of swimmers. The snorkeling site, in calm water inside a reef, will be
chosen based on daily ocean and weather
conditions. After being outfitted with equipment, including wetsuits, you will receive
full instructions and begin snorkeling
in a protected area with no more than six persons per guide. Your guides are marine life
experts and will tell you about the
fish and coral you see. You may even have a chance to swim with green sea turtles. A
videotape of this tour is available for
an additional charge. Please bring swimsuit, towel, sunglasses and sunscreen. Drinks and
